Kooky-Spooky Spiderweb Dip
Ingredients
8 ounces softened cream cheese or vegan substitute
1/2 cup salsa
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
salt to taste
1 cup prepared guacamole. purchased or homemade
2 to 3 tablespoons sour cream, plain greek yogurt or vegan substitute
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, salsa, dried oregano, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder. Mix well. Taste and season with salt, if needed. Spread into an 8 inch pie plate or serving dish. When spreading mixture, create a 1-inch ridge around the edge of the dip.
Scoop guacamole onto center of cream cheese mixture. Spread guacamole to within 1 inch edge of cream cheese mixture within ridge.
Place sour cream in a small resealable plastic bag. Using a scissors, snip a small tip off of one corner of bag. Squeeze sour cream out of opening in a spiral pattern on top of the guacamole with lines about an inch apart. Starting at the center of the dip gently pull a bamboo skewer or knife through lines on guacamole toward edge, in 6 evenly spaced lines. Wipe skewer or knife clean. Between each line, repeat dragging skewer or knife from outer edge to center of dip, completing the spiderweb design.
Place dip on platter and surround with Way Better Snacks Unbeatable Blues Corn Tortilla Chips.
